Village Centre opens at The Glades

The Glades at Byford is part of the Serpentine Jarrahdale Shire which has been announced as Australia’s fastest growing local government in the country, according to Bernard Salt, renowned KPMG Demographer and media personality.

Byford itself is also quickly coming of age, with major upgrades of infrastructure, including the development of the main shopping precinct and upgrade of infrastructure within the Byford town centre, new schools, better road and pedestrian networks and stage one of the Byford Skate Park.

It doesn't stop there as moving forward Byford will welcome a Woolworths, McDonalds, KFC, Dome, Aldi, a train station and activation of the Briggs Park Master Plan.

Probably most excitingly for our residents, however, is The Glades’ very own shopping precinct, Lakeside Plaza, which only just recently opened.

Lakeside Plaza is in the heart of the Village Centre and features an IGA supermarket as well as a range of speciality stores

Lakeside Fresh IGA

Open 8am – 8pm daily, this supermarket is located on the corner of Doley and Mead Roads in the heart of The Glades Village Centre. It stocks a wide range of fresh produce as well as all your grocery needs.

Just next door is The Strand Lakeside Café, which overlooks gorgeous Lake Allambee and is open from 8am to 4pm daily for brunch and from 5.30pm for dinner.
