Byford Little Athletics Club

Location: Kardan Blvd, Byford

Ages: Male and female - 5-16 years old

Byford Little Athletics is a non-profit children's sporting club, for children aged 5 to 16 that focuses on fun, fitness and always doing your best.

Fun and inclusive for kids of all abilities, the club also runs regular coaching clinics and open days, plus sausage sizzles that the community is invited to attend.

Ready Steady Go Kids

Location: 4 Townley St, Armadale

Ages: Children 18months - 6 years

Ready Steady Go Kids is Australia’s leading multi-sport program teaching children the fundamentals of 10 different sports in a fun, non-competitive, team-based environment.

Scientifically designed by a paediatric physiotherapist and occupational therapist, the program covers soccer, tennis, hockey, rugby, T-ball, athletics, basketball, golf, football and cricket.

SJ Blues Cricket Club

Location: Briggs Park, Mead St Byford

Ages: Juniors - Seniors

The Serpentine Jarrahdale Cricket Club (SJ Blues) was formed with the merger of the Byford Cricket Club and Mundijong Centrals Cricket Club. Participating in the South Metropolitan Cricket Association for Seniors and the South-East Metropolitan Junior Cricket Council for Juniors, The SJ Blues offers great competition and new players are always welcome.

Bibra Lake Junior Football Club

Location: Hope Road, Bibra Lake

Ages: Boys and Girls 5-17

Bibra Lake Bandicoots is a Junior Football Club that offers and fun and supportive environment for boys and girls to learn and develop their skills in Australian Rules Football (AFL). The club has qualified coaches, and a great community support base with new players and volunteers always welcome.

Byford Bushrangers – T-Ball, Baseball and Softball Club

The Byford Bushrangers offers a range of sports from toddler T-ball to juniors and seniors’ baseball and softball teams.

The club also offers regular coaching and umpiring clinics.

Serpentine-Jarrahdale Community Recreation Centre

Location: 38 Mead Street, Byford

Ages: All ages

Serpentine Jarrahdale Community Recreation Centre is a multi-purpose sports facility consisting of a fully equipped health club, group fitness studio, two sports courts, extreme sports area, crèche and 300 seat function room. The centre offers fitness classes, before and after-school care, dance classes and more.

Everyone is welcome at the recreation centre, regardless of their age or fitness level!

Superkids Aquatic

Location: 65C Kalyang Loop, Byford

This indoor purpose-built facility offers water safety and swimming lessons for kids of all ages and levels of ability, parent and baby classes and school holiday programs.

There’s a heated pool with pristine clear water and a pool deck providing easy access for prams and wheelchairs.

The Serpentine Jarrahdale Community Men’s Shed is a group of men from the local community who will do almost anything for anyone when it comes to community projects.

Specialising in anything woodwork, they’ll help with everything from slabs tooutdoor furniture, and they’re even branching into metal art.

Serpentine and Districts Country Women's Association

Location: Richardson Street, Serpentine
Travel time: 15min drive

The Serpentine and Districts Country Women’s Association is a community organization set up by country women to support country women.

The group meets on the first Thursday of every month and is always on the lookout for new members.
